Prime Minister Andrej Babis said he would never step down, in a speech before leaving for Brussels today, reacting to the interview with his son Andrej Babis Junior, reportedly suffering from schizophrenia, who said he had been kidnapped to Crimea. Babis said the whole affair was a sort of coup and a campaign in the style of an intelligence service. "It is a Palermo coup," Babis said, alluding to his stay in Palermo when the crucial interview was released. "This is an action worth an intelligence service, perhaps foreign, perhaps Czech," he added.
