Slovak Prime Minister Peter Pellegrini (Smer-SD) on Monday assured the public that his Government won't change its stance on migration and won't do anything that could in any way undermine the country's security and sovereignty, either. Pellegrini was reacting to a call by the Opposition We Are Family earlier in the day for the Government to provide a clear statement on how it views the UN Global Migration Compact, which the party recommends rejecting as a dangerous unknown", stating that it might pose a threat to individual countries' sovereignty concerning migration.
