Prime Minister Peter Pellegrini has expressed his sincere condolences to Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babis following the tragic incident in the Czech Republic on Tuesday in which six people were killed and several others suffered severe injuries in a shooting spree at Ostrava Hospital, TASR has learned. "Slovakia empathises with the bereaved from this attack," Pellegrini said. "The entire country wishes the injured the most rapid recovery and the earliest return to normal life," he said, adding that this tragedy "is a reminder to us all that safety issues are key to people's daily lives and that we must do our best to protect them as much as possible".
