Pellegrini: Krajniak failing to preserve social harmony

Labour Minister Milan Krajniak is failing to carry out his fundamental role, which is preserving the balance between employees and employers, former prime minister and head of the newly emerging Voice-SD party Peter Pellegrini said on Monday in reaction to the fact that the Trade Union Confederation (KOZ) quit a tripartite meeting earlier in the day and suspended social dialogue after Krajniak asked employers alone to discuss the minimum wage for next year. In Pellegrini's view, the minister's move was "a display of total amateurism and lack of understanding of his job".
