Parlt cttee launches hearing of bidders for police chief

The parliamentary defence and security committee launched a hearing of the candidates for the post of Police Corps president at Bratislava Castle on Monday. Two people are running -- interim national police chief Peter Kovarik and commander of the Police Corps' anti-terrorist unit Stefan Hamran. The bids of both have been okayed by a selection commission.
