Parliament: Slovakia to send troops to Latvia

Slovakia will deploy up to 152 members of the Slovak Armed Forces to Latvia as part of NATO's Enhanced Forward Presence operation to defend the Alliance's eastern border, with MPs approving a document to this effect with 116 votes at the parliamentary session on Wednesday. The Slovak soldiers will operate under the command of Canada with the option of being deployed also to Lithuania, Estonia and Poland.
