Over 200 ballots registered for autumn regional elections

The authorities have registered 205 lists of candidates of parties, movements or their coalitions for the 2-3 October regional elections in Czechia, two lists were rejected and one withdrawn, according to the data released today after the deadline for correcting the ballots expired. This is a lower number than in the previous elections to the regional assemblies in 2016 with 269 ballots, while only one was turned down over shortcomings.The highest number of the candidates' lists is in the Moravia-Silesia and South Bohemia regions with 20 in each. On the contrary, the lowest number, only 12 lists, is in the Hradec Kralove Region, east Bohemia.
