Prime Minister Viktor Orban on Monday met Istvan Pasztor, head of Serbia's ethnic Hungarian VMSZ party, for talks in Budapest, the prime minister's press office reported. Parties at the talks, held ahead of an upcoming Hungary-Serbia summit, focused on the Hungarian government's programmes to promote ethnic Hungarian businesses, as well as Hungary's April 8 general election. Orban and Pasztor spoke highly of cooperation between the two countries, while Orban confirmed his government's commitment to the European Union's enlargement with regard to the western Balkans.
