Opposition party calls for presidential election delay until May 16, 2021

April 20th, 2020

Main opposition party Civic Platform (PO) has proposed a postponement of Poland's presidential election, due on May 10, and holding the ballot through a mixed method of voting on May 16, next year, party leader Borys Budka said on Monday. "We are proposing safe elections on May 16, 2021, in which everyone can take part without endangering their life and health," Budka said. Safe elections can be conducted through a mixed method of voting, he added.
