February 15th, 2019
Opposition parties Ordinary People (OLaNO) and Freedom and Solidarity (SaS) have filed 38 MPs' signatures necessary to call an extraordinary parliamentary session for the purpose of holding a vote of no-confidence against Education Minister Martina Lubyova (a Slovak National Party/SNS nominee). The reason behind the motion is awarding of R&D stimuli by the Education Ministry. Parliamentary Chair Andrej Danko (SNS) signalled that the extraordinary session should take place on Monday, February 18.
