According to a survey carried out by Kantar Slovakia on a sample of 2,094 respondents, one in six Slovaks on average has no financial reserves, with Slovaks younger than 24 years saving the least. The survey showed that 16 percent of the respondents have no savings. If they do have reserves, in the highest number of cases (37 percent) the reserve amounts to three times their monthly salaries, while 14 percent have reserves worth four to nine times their salaries. Only 7 percent said that their reserves equal to at least their yearly income.
