OLaNO supports extension of state of emergency

Slovakia's ruling OLaNO on Tuesday released a statement supporting the extension of the state of emergency introduced at the start of the coronavirus epidemic. Under the decision currently pending parliamentary approval, the state of emergency would be extended by 30 days. OLaNO said in a statement on Tuesday that the move had been recommended by the country's pandemic committee, and insisted that there was "no rational reason to question the need" to extend it.
