Slovakia's economy is projected to grow at a strong pace both in 2018 and 2019, TASR learnt from the latest economic outlook released by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). According to the forecast, Slovakia's GDP should grow by 4 percent in 2018 and by 4.5 percent in 2019. Private consumption is expected to benefit from the positive situation on the labour market, and growing labour shortages will boost salary growth and, thereby, inflation. Private consumption is set to go up by 3.6 percent this year and by 4 percent in 2019.
