ODS celebrates May Day, birth of Czechoslovakia

The Czech centre-right Civic Democratic Party (ODS) connected its usual May Day rally with the celebrations of Czechoslovakia's 100th anniversary on Tuesday. Along with entertainment, the party also offered its framework programme for the autumn local election in Prague. MEP Jan Zahradil said the rally had been primarily prepared as a celebration of the festival of love, spring, calm and good atmosphere, not as a political rally.
