October's CPI inflation in Poland at 1.8 pct y/y - stats office

Prices of consumer goods and services increased by 1.8 percent year on year and by 0.4 percent month on month in October 2018, the Central Statistical Office (GUS) reported on Wednesday. In an earlier flash estimate, GUS said that prices increased by 1.7 percent year on year and by 0.4 percent month on month. Economists polled by PAP before the flash publication predicted that October's CPI reached 1.8 percent year on year and 0.4 percent month on month.
