The Czech Republic saw 6,910 new confirmed Covid-19 cases on Monday, 746 less than a week ago, while slightly under 100,000 are currently infected and the total coronavirus death toll has reached 15,618, according to data released by the Health Ministry. On Sunday, another 165 coronavirus-related fatalities were registered. On Monday, 5,852 Covid patients were being treated in Czech hospitals, which was 175 more than on Sunday, but the number of those in a serious condition dropped by 40 to 992.
