Number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Poland reaches 60,281

The number of confirmed coronavirus infections in Poland increased by a new daily record of 903 since Thursday morning and reached 60,281, the Ministry of Health said on Friday morning. Another 13 people have died, bringing the death toll to 1,938. Previously, the largest number of new cases was recorded on August 8, when it reached 843. The ministry also reported that 2,151 people suspected of coronavirus infection have been hospitalised, 103,351 are under quarantine and 8,902 are under sanitary-epidemiological supervision. So far, over 41,000 people have recovered.
