No chance for lower VAT rates in 2019 - deputy FinMin

Poland's macroeconomic and budget situation does not allow for lower VAT rates in 2019, Deputy Finance Minister Pawel Gruza told a private radio broadcaster on Tuesday. "We must take into account the budget situation, we have temporary surpluses but at the end of the year we have a deficit ... at this moment there is no room [for the lowering of VAT rates]," Gruza said.
