Polish beekeepers and the Greenpeace environmental organisation have called on the agriculture minister to withdraw his consent to the use of pesticides harmful to bees. Greenpeace together with representatives of several beekeeping organisations staged a protest on Wednesday in front of the Agriculture Ministry building against the use of neonicotinoid pesticides for rapeseed treatment. Consent was issued in July by minister Jan Krzysztof Ardanowski.
