New office for gambling regulation launches activities in Slovakia
July 8th, 2019
Supervision over gambling will now come under one roof, as the Office for the Regulation of Gambling has already launched its activities. All powers that were until now in the hands of the Finance Ministry, municipalities and Financial Directorate are being transferred to the new office as of June 1, 2019. The Finance Ministry believes that regulation of gambling will become more effective thanks to this step.
