Four Hungarian parties have become new members of the Centrist Democrat International (CDI), a Christian democratic political international of which ruling Fidesz had already been a member for some years, the head of the Fidesz group's foreign affairs cabinet said on Tuesday. A CDI general assembly meeting approved the membership of the co-ruling Christian Democratic Party (KDNP) of Hungary, the Alliance of Vojvodina Hungarians of Serbia, the Democratic Alliance of Hungarians in Romania and the Cultural Alliance of Hungarians in Sub-Carpathia, Zsolt Nemeth said. A Fidesz delegation attended the meeting of the Executive Committe and the General Assembly on the island of Sal, Cape Verde, Nemeth, who was a member of the delegation, said.
