Murdered investigative journalist Jan Kuciak had been looking into a case involving the Italian Mafia's activities in Slovakia and its past links to Prime Minister Robert Fico's chief state advisor Maria Troskova shortly before his death, TASR learnt on Tuesday from information published by SME daily. A reporter from the daily testified to the police about these links earlier in the day in connection with the investigation into Kuciak's murder, whose body was found along with his girlfriend's in his house in Velka Maca (Trnava region) on Sunday night.
