Seventy percent of Czechs support the wearing of face masks because they consider them an effective protection against the coronavirus outbreak, according to a poll by the Nielsen Admosphere company. Fully 8 percent of the poll's respondents said they were not sure as to whether face masks are an effective protection and 22 percent consider them useless. Czechs aged 35-44 and those from Moravia have higher trust in face masks, while people aged 15-34 and those with primary or secondary education only trust them less. Half of the people wear a face mask only for one stay outside their home and then they throw it out or sterilise it. One in four usually wears one face mask or some other mouth and nose cover for the whole day.
