Morawiecki denies plans to dismiss energy minister

June 12th, 2018

Poland's Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said on Tuesday that rumours about the possible dismissal of Krzysztof Tchórzewski from the post of energy minister, "are untrue." Speaking to reporters after Tuesday's cabinet session, Morawiecki gave his assurances that "work with the minister is proceeding excellently." "I have no idea whatsoever," the head of the cabinet added, "where these wholly unfounded and unnecessary rumours originate from, and are being boosted." "I can dispel all the wrong rumours in this regard," he said.
