Morawiecki calls for support of Belarusian citizens

Remembering August 1980 and the legacy of 'Solidarity', "we want to support civil society in Belarus and its efforts to achieve full democracy and freedom," Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki wrote on Facebook on Thursday. The post was accompanied by a quote from the Polish head of government: "The great protests in Belarus are an extremely important step towards building a civil society that wants true freedom, independence, democracy and the rule of law."
