The Energy Ministry has been analysing the financial potential of a British investor interested in the takeover of a mine in Suszec (south Poland), now under liquidation, Deputy Energy Minister Grzegorz Tobiszowski said in the Sejm on Wednesday. Tobiszowski stressed that the ministry wanted to find out as much as possible about the financial situation of the company to decide if its offer should be considered. An employee-owned company and Britain's Tamar Resources have announced plans to buy the mine's assets and resume production. Tamar declared an investment of 600 million zlotys (EUR 143.88m) and over 2,000 new jobs.
