The education ministry has imposed fines on six foreign universities and colleges or their branches for offering education in the Czech Republic without the necessary official permits, the public Czech Radio's server iRozhlas.cz reported. The ministry filed a legal complaint against two of these educational institutions since they had not returned tuition to students who had not started studying there at all, while it leads administrative proceedings with the others.
