Minister signs MoU on Fudan University Budapest campus

Innovation and Technology Minister Laszlo Palkovics and Xu Ningsheng, the president of China's Fudan University, meeting in Shanghai on Monday, signed a memorandum of understanding on the university's setting up a Budapest campus. Shanghai-based Fudan is among the world's top 40 universities, according to QS World University Ranking, Hungary's innovation and technology ministry said. It has 4,500 teachers and more than 30,000 students. Welcoming the project, Palkovics said cooperation between the two universities would help Hungary become a regional knowledge hub.
