Matovic vows to defend Slovakia's interests in European Council

Prime Minister Igor Matovic said on Wednesday after a meeting of the parliamentary European affairs committee that he intends to defend Slovakia's interests at the next European Council session, explaining that he wants the country's economic situation as well as its condition and size to be taken into consideration when decisions are taken on the drawing of the EU's multi-year financial framework and a renewal fund.
