In the speech he delivered in parliament before the vote on the government manifesto on Thursday, Prime Minister Igor Matovic indicated that shops in Slovakia might be allowed to reopen at a faster pace than originally declared. This might happen if the number people infected with coronavirus remains at similarly favourable levels until next Monday. The reopening would apply to all outlets under the condition that they adhere to the rule of 25 square metres per customer.
