Man attempting to drive car into presidential palace hospitalised

A man who knocked down a policeman and tried to drive his car through security barriers in front of the Presidential Palace on Tuesday was apprehended by police and sent to hospital. He could not be communicated with and police "cannot rule out that he was under the influence of intoxicants", a spokesperson of the Warsaw police told PAP.
