A total of 71 percent of Poles said they are interested in the autumn local government elections with 75 percent declaring their intention to vote, the latest survey by the CBOS polling institute showed. Twenty-eight percent of respondents said they are not interested in the upcoming elections while 13 percent do not intend to participate in the vote. Among those who declared an intention to vote in the local elections, 29 percent would vote for the candidates of the United Right and 16 percent for the opposition coalition parties of Civic Platform (PO) and Nowoczesna.
