Slovak Foreign and European Affairs Minister Miroslav Lajcak on Tuesday will leave for a two-day working visit to the United States, with the main focus of the trip being a meeting with Secretary of State Michael R. Pompeo, TASR was told by the ministry's press department on Monday. In addition to bilateral issues, the two sides will discuss current defence, security and foreign policy issues as well as questions concerning the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) with an emphasis on Ukraine. During his stay, the minister will hold a series of additional meetings with US officials aimed at the political-security agenda and presenting the priorities of the upcoming Slovak OSCE presidency.
