Lajcak attends Belt and Road Forum in Beijing

Slovak Foreign Minister Miroslav Lajcak, along with political leaders from more than 150 countries, on Friday attended an opening ceremony and plenary meetings of the second Belt and Road Forum in Beijing, the Slovak ministry's press department told TASR. "Slovakia welcomes all initiatives aimed at boosting infrastructure and contributing to sustainable development in the Eurasian region. Better and more sustainable inter-connectivity is in Europe's and Asia's interest," the ministry said, adding that Slovakia supports the 2018 EU strategy on building connections between Europe and Asia.
