Kulhanek to be appointed foreign minister on Wednesday

President Milos Zeman will appoint Jakub Kulhanek as the new Czech foreign affairs minister on Wednesday afternoon, Zeman's spokesman Jiri Ovcacek said on Twitter after a meeting of the president with Kulhanek. Zeman dismissed Tomas Petricek as the head of Czech diplomacy on Monday and entrusted Deputy PM and CSSD leader Jan Hamacek with heading the Foreign Ministry temporarily. "President Milos Zeman will appoint Jakub Kulhanek as foreign minister at 14:00 next Wednesday," Ovcacek tweeted.
