KPMG sees improved growth outlook for Slovakia

Slovakia's prospects for future economic growth have improved significantly year-on-year, according to a study by The Growth Promise Indicator (GPI) conducted by the KPMG global network of consulting firms. Slovakia was ranked 47th among 180 countries, rising 11 places compared to last year, said Beata Dubenova of KPMG Slovensko. Despite a significant improvement, however, Slovakia is still at the tail end of the Visegrad Four (V4) countries, at a similar level with Greece, Romania, Belarus and Qatar.
