Kover: Hungary supports Moldova's European integration efforts

Hungary continues to support Moldova's aspirations for European integration, House Speaker Laszlo Kover said on Thursday after talks with Moldovan counterpart Zinaida Greceanii. Kover said the Republic of Moldova's "geopolitical features accentuate the significance of preserving its inner stability and sovereignty", parliament's press office said. Hungary's interest lies in the Republic of Moldova being independent, politically and economically stable and continually developing, he said. "We would like to develop closer relations based on respect for each other and mutual appreciation," Kover added.
