Korcok calls on Lukashenko to respect freedom of speech

Slovak Foreign Affairs Minister Ivan Korcok has called on Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko to respect fundamental principles of democracy and the freedom of speech after the Belarusian police detained some 3,000 demonstrators protesting against what they said was a skewed presidential election on Sunday, the ministry said.
