Hungary's lawmakers are scheduled to vote on the constitutional amendment and "Stop Soros" laws in June, Mate Kocsis, the Fidesz parliamentary group leader said on Tuesday. The changes are being put to a vote under the action plan to protect the country and the vote is likely to take place at some point after the June 19 plenary session, he told a press conference, adding that his party wanted the laws adopted as soon as possible following a full political debate. He noted that the constitutional amendment covers three areas: the issue of constitutional identity, issues related to the courts and issues concerning privacy protection.
