President Andrej Kiska said on Tuesday that he will announce his final decision concerning the resignation of Foreign and European Affairs Minister Miroslav Lajcak on Wednesday after the cabinet has its final say about the upcoming summit on migration in Morocco. Kiska added that Slovakia should send a representative to the international conference on migration scheduled to take place on December 10-11. The president also said that it would be a pity if Slovakia lost a diplomat such as Lajcak. Lajcak decided to tender his resignation over a parliamentary resolution to reject the UN Global Compact for Migration.
