Kiska calls for transparency in army spending

In a speech evaluating the 2017 developments in the Slovak armed forces, President Andrej Kiska said on Thursday that the army should focus on spending their funding transparently and prudently, to keep the trust of the public. The Slovak army was allocated 500 million euros for modernisation late last year, Kiska noted.
