The non-parliamentary Christian Democratic Movement (KDH) voiced its concern over the news of Foreign and European Affairs Minister Miroslav Lajcak's resignation, Stanislav Zupa of KDH's press department said on Friday. Lajcak's decision is the product of "enormous division" within the governing coalition and Smer-SD party, KDH MEP Ivan Stefanec said. "The current state of affairs not only worsens Slovakia's standing in the European Union and erodes our trustworthiness in the eyes of allies, but also inspires concerns about our foreign affairs orientation, particularly in the wake of dangerous adventures of our Parliamentary Chairman Andrej Danko," said Stefanec.
