Kazimir: Slovakia in finals of competition for another carmaker

Three carmakers are currently operating in Slovakia, while the fourth one [Jaguar Land Rover] is due to launch production in the autumn and Slovakia is in the frame for a fifth. "We're competing for another carmaker that everybody knows, and many of you drive its cars. I was surprised that we've made it to the finals. We'll learn the result in the next few months," said Finance Minister Peter Kazimir (Smer-SD) at a discussion forum organised by Hospodarske Noviny daily. This time the carmaker is heading to eastern Slovakia, he added.
