Katowice to host 'City of 2018' conference in June
April 16th, 2018
An international conference entitled 'The city of 2018 - management of the city' will be held on June 14-15 in Katowice, southern Poland. Leading subjects will include: digitalisation, the management of metropolises, and leisure culture. The event is being organised by Civic Platform (PO) MEP Jan Olbrycht. It will present the latest trends in urban management, paths of urban development in terms of well-designed public areas, environmental protection and sustainable use of resources. Announcing the event, the MEP said it is dedicated to local government administration. "We want people who technically manage the cities, like planners or architects, to participate in the conference," said Olbrycht.
