Jaguar to start production in Nitra in Sept

Carmaker Jaguar Land Rover will launch its production plant in Nitra Strategic Park early in September, the company's operations manager Alexander Wortberg told a news conference held in Nitra on Tuesday. The Nitra plant is set to manufacture a whole range of new Jaguar Land Rover aluminium vehicles, with the first produced model to be the Land Rover Discovery. Jaguar has invested 1.4 billion euros in the construction of its plant in Slovakia, while another 130 euros million has been provided by the state in the form of state aid.
