Iraq in talks with Polish Arms Group on equipment upgrade

An Iraqi delegation has held talks with Polish Armaments Group (PGZ) representatives to discuss overhauls along with the modernization of T-72 tanks and armoured personnel carriers as well as possible deliveries of military personal equipment. According to a PGZ press release, the Group's CEO Blazej Wojnicz said that "for a long time Iraq has been a receiver of Eastern block's arms systems as part of military assistance or in effect of purchases of used equipment.
