Interest in Czech biggest in Croatia, Brazil

A total of 56 Czech language teachers work in various countries in six continents, most of them in Croatia and Brazil, thanks to a programme supporting Czech cultural heritage abroad, Olga Vlachova, the head of the educational programme, told journalists. Czech is also taught to students in Taiwan or Cairo, among other countries, Vlachova said, adding that the number of the teachers and the countries in which they work is stable. Vlachova spoke at the 10th meeting of teachers of Czech abroad in the Foreign Cooperation House.
