Industry ministry sets stricter referral rules for companies

The Industry and Trade Ministry has introduced a new method to assess companies ahead of recommending them for international deals. The decision comes after a case of suspected fraudulent practices of the Czech company Liglass Trading CZ associated with a 12-billion-crown hydro power plants deal in Kyrgyzstan, daily Hospodarske noviny (HN) wrote on Friday.
