IFP: Tax and levies collection to increase by EUR 147m this year

The state is expected to collect more money in taxes and levies this year and in the following years, with tax income estimated to see a year-on-year increase by EUR 147 million in 2017, EUR 198 million in 2018, EUR 213 million in 2019 and EUR 211 million in 2020, according to the latest tax prognosis released by the Financial Policies Institute (IFP). The IFP increased its estimates of tax and levies incomes in comparison to its earlier June prognosis, mainly due to the continuing growth of the labour market as well as the accelerating growth in levies income.
