Hungary October trade surplus revised down to EUR 479 m

Hungary's October trade surplus was revised down to 479 million euros in a second reading of data released by the Central Statistical Office (KSH) on Monday. In the first reading, published on December 9, KSH had put the October surplus at 514 million euros. Revised figures show imports rose by an annual 4.1 percent in value terms to 9.616 billion euros. Exports were up 6.8 percent at 10.09 billion euros. In volume terms imports rose by 7.1 percent and exports rose by an annual 8.0 percent.
